Henty Gold Mine is a residential mine located in a spectacular area of Tasmania renowned for its unique rainforest environment, 35km north of Queenstown and 35km south of Tullah. The mine has produced in excess of one million ounces of gold over a 14 year period. Recent exploration success has significantly extended the mine life, and continued exploration on the significant near mine tenement package remains a key focus.

Supporting the Mining Manager, your key focus will be to provide strong leadership and technical direction to the Mining crews, by proactively planning underground operations to meet the mining schedule in a safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

You will have substantial experience in senior underground mining roles and will ideally hold a degree in Mine Engineering.

Your previous senior mining roles will have given you solid experience in all facets of mining production, including: safety management and initiatives; ensuring development and production schedules are on target; and assisting with budgets.

In addition to your solid operational mining skills, you will have a fine tuned ability to successfully lead teams, build strong relationships and self manage.
